Title: A Family-Friendly Gem in Leucate
For dads, it would be great to have parasols for shade by the poolside.

During my recent business trip to Leucate, my director chose Hotel Le Leukos as our accommodation. I must say, it was a fantastic choice. One of the highlights of our stay was the seasonal pool, which opened in May. It provided a refreshing escape after long days of meetings and allowed us to relax and unwind. The pool area was well-maintained and had plenty of comfortable loungers, creating a perfect atmosphere for some much-needed downtime. The hotel also had excellent facilities, such as a well-equipped fitness center and a charming courtyard where we enjoyed some evening drinks.
At our arrival, we discovered an army of ants and dozed flies on the floor.

Had a fantastic Xmas stay at this wonderful oasis! Loved the location – close to a great supermarket, bus stop, and tasty eateries. The manager went above and beyond, giving us a lift to the train station on a Sunday. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a delightful Greek theme, making it feel like two holidays in one. Just great!
Communal areas like the stairs could use a fresh coat of paint. The cleanliness could be improved as the cleaners seemed to throw sheets and laundry in the stairwell.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel in Leucate. The staff were super helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location was ideal, with a short drive to the beautiful beaches or a leisurely stroll into the picturesque old town. The highlight was definitely the old castle, where the breathtaking 360° view from the top left us in awe. As young people, we appreciated the fact that the rooms were pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our beloved dog along. There were also several dog-friendly beaches nearby, making it a perfect destination for pet owners. The room itself, although a bit cramped for a family, had the capacity to sleep up to 6 people and was equipped with a well-stocked kitchenette. We also enjoyed the sea view terrace, which must be amazing during the summer. it was an enjoyable and affordable stay in a clean and basic room.
Felt really welcomed, no reason to complain.

The owner of Le Leukos kindly picked us up from the train station upon arrival, ensuring a smooth start to our stay. The apartment and poolside area were recently renovated and well-maintained, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The spacious room comfortably accommodated three of us, and the air-conditioning provided relief from the summer heat. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the village where we enjoyed excellent restaurants recommended by the owner. Additionally, it was an easy stroll to the clean and family-friendly beach. The continental breakfast offered was satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel had a small outdoor swimming pool that was unbelievably clean, perfect for a refreshing dip. The surrounding trees and shrubs created a beautiful and serene atmosphere, and the outdoor sitting facilities were ideal for lounging and soaking up the sun. The hotel's location near a supermarket and specialty food and sports shops made it incredibly convenient for stocking up on essentials and exploring local treasures. The insufficient cooling in the room was a minor setback, but overall, our stay was delightful.

The hotel's decoration was charming and created a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of old-world charm. The general areas were well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind. As a senior, I particularly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The elevators were easily accessible, and the hallways were well-lit and spacious, making it convenient for seniors like myself to navigate around the hotel without any difficulty.
It would have been even better if the staff had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A dedicated concierge service or assistance specifically tailored to the needs of seniors would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for us.

The staff were helpful, the location was convenient with a short walk to the beach and the charming old town of Leucate, and the rooms were pet-friendly. It was a good value for the price and had a well-equipped kitchenette. The terrace with a sea view was a nice touch.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
